Make Vision Therapy Affordable

At Lumen Foundation, we want every family who needs vision therapy services to receive treatment without serious financial burden. That’s why we’ve partnered with vision therapy clinics in North Dakota to assist in paying for services not covered by medical insurance.

Vision therapy is covered by over 95% of medical insurance plans. In some cases, certain medical insurance plans do not provide coverage for specific vision therapy CPT codes. The Lumen Foundation will assist in payment of these non-covered services for families who can’t afford treatment. Vision Therapy Grant amounts will vary based on need and expected length of treatment.

By providing this grant funding exclusively to clinics accepting medical insurance for vision therapy services, we hope to encourage “cash payment only” providers in North Dakota to make their services more affordable by utilizing their patients’ medical insurance benefits.
